Safety: TOKPIE EV SSL Certification Passed Successfully

TOKPIE has successfully updated its Extended Validation SSL Certificate (or EV SSL) for its website and exchange platform.

EV SSL is the highest form of SSL Certification on the market, providing the most powerful encryption and data integrity. The company, owner of the website, shall pass through a thorough and globally standardized identity verification process to prove exclusive rights to use a domain, confirm its legal, operational and physical existence, and prove the entity has authorized the issuance of the certificate.

This verified identity information is included within the certificate along with business name and country presented directly in the browser window.

It is vital for Tokpie to secure the highest level of security possible because one of the major threats facing legitimate businesses online is the prevalence of phishing or imposter websites. In recent times, phishers have taken their scams one step further using free Domain Validated (DV) Certificates issued by less than thorough SSL services.

TOKPIE’s EV SSL Certificate is very clear to see — the certificate is displayed on the tokpie.io (Picture 1) and tokpie.com (Picture 2) address bars making it easy to confirm the site is safe and that it belongs to the Graceful Globe Limited.

Happy to share the latest features added to the TOKPIE exchange platform:

Market price auto-filling feature

To ease the process of trading order submissions we have added the option to auto-fill the price field with the best ASK/BID currently available on the market. So now if you want to trade for the market price there is no need to enter the price by hands.
For example, (1) select buy/sell, (2) click on [Fill price from market], the result (3) the price of the best order to sell/buy with automatically appear in the price field (Picture 1).

Additional decimals in USD equivalent price value

To ease the evaluation process we have increased decimals from 2  to 6 in the ‘USD equivalent per one base cryptocurrency’ field (Picture 2). So now if an asset eth price has many decimals like 0.00000001 ETH you anyway see its USD equivalent value.

Tradable assets selector

To speed up uploading time and ease an asset search & selection we have added the [Show only tradable] checkbox element on the Balance Details page (Picture 3). So now you see by default only the assets on which you can apply some actions (trade, withdraw or deposit) on the Balance Details section.

Assets descriptions and logos

To ease an asset search and selection we have marked every cryptocurrency and bounty stake title with the related logo, name, and description on the Balance Details page  (Figure 4). So now you can see that:

  • Bounty Stakes have logos of the related cryptocurrency with small {s} letter inside.
  • The Currency code column shows an asset name used in trading on TOKPIE
  • Currency name column shows an asset related info that can be of two types:
    a) if an asset is a token or coin then by clicking on the related link you see the description of this asset (i.g. blockchain explorer for that token or coin).
    b) if an asset is a bounty stake then by clicking on the related link you see:
    – Conversion rates and distribution status if a bounty campaign for that stakes was finished or
    – the Date when trading on that stake is going to be stopped if a bounty campaign is still active.

TOKPIE Knowledge Base is live

Following our Roadmap, we have started TOKPIE Support Center with Knowledge Base inside.

The TOKPIE Support Center now contains some FAQ articles with basic information, but we will be adding new content regularly. The result TOKPIE users will get a powerful help tool that will be full of useful advises and published in many different languages.

Here are the great updates and fixings, which have been made on TOKPIE cryptocurrency exchange platform for the last weeks.

TOKPIE API Newsfeed

The Tokpie user base is growing so fast that we have urgently developed this new feature. It allows us to send short messages (250 bytes) and announcements to all our users instantly by one click. Now every user can see these messages in the Support section (picture below)

Moreover, we have made this newsfeed public and available for FREE through our API. So, now, anyone can build own (web or mobile) applications based on such API. We plan to include this newsfeed feature into our TOKPIE iOS/Android applications which will be developed later.

URL with API access to the TOKPIE’s newsfeed looks like this: https://tokpie.com/api_news_message/. This API does not require authorization and can be accessed using the GET method.

Loading Speed and Scalability

The speed of Order Books loading was increased by 12-15 times thanks to code optimizations we made. Now it takes around 1 second to open any order book (e.g. ForkDelta order books’ loading is spin and spin and takes around 4-5 minute to load). It means that overall TOKPIE platform performance has improved and we can scale further.

TOKPIE cryptocurrency exchange is now listed on Coinpaprika!

This listing provides our community with one more website where they can track their favorite tokens being traded on TOKPIE exchange platform.

Moreover, eligible projects can now list their tokens & coins on TOKPIE, to use TOKPIE exchange as a gateway for being listed on Coinpaprica. It’s valuable for any project to see its token to be listed on as many price-tracking websites as possible.

Beta 1.6.1

Some updates and fixings had been made on TOKPIE platform recently.

1. We add two new sections to the user panel. Now users can reach the most popular information about: “How to earn and get Ethereum every day on a regular basis” and “Earn on referrals” in one click.

2. We have fixed registration Captcha check-box. Now it works properly.

3. We have upgraded website server. This is why it was not available for a few minutes yesterday.

4. We have updated a welcome message by adding additional info to it.

Beta 1.5

After Beta 1.4 (Public API) release, TOKPIE team had done the following upgrades:

1. Markets statistics had been added to the website.

It means that the latest matched prices, 24 hours highest and lowest prices, as well as trade volume, and 24h price changes are visible now to anyone without registration on TOKPIE platform.

Also, by clicking on any row in the Market Statistics a visitor can open the related Order Book.

Besides that, the Archive Markets folder contains pairs, which trade operations were successfully finished. It will help people in analyzing bounty stakes trading history and choose the right strategy in the future.

2. The 24h price change information was added to the platform dashboard section.

3. Deposit notification was fixed.

Now users get email notifications every time when deposits come to their account balances.

The next TOKPIE update will be assigned to a highly awaited Knowledge Base system and other useful features.

TOKPIE cryptocurrency exchange API business model

Like many other successful cryptocurrency exchanges, TOKPIE is realizing the opportunities that come when data and services are managed via API.

TOKPIE will be exploring two main API approaches.

First one is to start with the API showing historical data per trading pair and related price metrics (Open, High, Low, Close, Volume, %change, etc.). It’s already done in Beta 1.4! Check the TOKPIE’s Public API page with access details.

The launch of its free public API allows TOKPIE platform to grow its revenues and service awareness by being listed on Coinmarketcap, Coingecko, Blockfolio and other sites that track cryptocurrencies prices derived from many different cryptocurrency exchanges.

In addition, now anyone who has basic computing skills can start receiving up to 70% revenue share by creating own cryptocurrency applications based on this API with a personal referral link inside.

The second approach is to expand further and provide the following:

• Tools and integrators: TOKPIE will take API beyond a traditional developer audience by creating tools, integrations, and tutorials to enable the use of the API by non-technical business stakeholders. This includes creating Google Docs tools that are API-enabled, tutorials on how to create a business in a particular vertical in which the API would be used.

• Third-party apps: API consumers that are becoming commercially viable by creating apps and online tools that are wholly or partly built on the TOKPIE’s API.

• Mobile integrations: Nowadays, customers want to use their smartphones and other devices to directly connect with an exchange. API is the core technology tool to capitalize on existing and future TOKPIE data assets, reach new markets and enable new mobile opportunities.

• Full documentation, tutorials, and online support to provide a more detailed discussion of code snippets, new SDK releases and coding techniques for using TOKPIE’s API.

• Open-sourced SDK for those developers wanting to quickly assess an API before integrating it into their coding projects. It will encourage developers to build their own wrappers and other tools.

TOKPIE cryptocurrency exchange platform will be introducing more sophisticated tools and techniques to scale up the use of its API to build out a commercially viable ecosystem of applications, partners and integrations. So, stay turned in.
